The four experiences to do in Toledo
In Toledo you will find the urban cableway largest in Europe. It passes and crosses the Toledo river. Put the fear aside, the speed touches about 25 km per hour, so go very slowly. Sitting on a special harness you will fly over the Tajo from one side of the river to the other. The very kind guys from Fly Toledo they will give you their GoPro that you can keep for the entire crossing of the river and then return to the boy who awaits you upon arrival.
La duration of the "crossing" is very short, I don't know if you reach the minute. When you get to the other side, before you get off, give yourself a big smile because there will be a camera ready to capture the moment.
And that's not all. Included in the ticket price the boys edit your video and post it on youtube and you will have your memory forever. Among other things, they also provide you with a code to view and download the photo they will post on Flickr.
Here is our video.
Try this experience, you will be able to see Toledo from a particular angle !!

Lunch with the Discalced Carmelites
In the visit to Toledo this, among the 5 things to do absolutely in Toledo, was the most particular thing I have done.
You will say… What do you want me to have such a special lunch?
Well, actually you are not all wrong. Let's try to explain why. The convent of the Discalced Carmelites is a convent located in the historic center and is used for the profession of religious worship and more.
You have the possibility to ask if it is possible to have lunch with them. I can't tell you the costs but what I do know is that it's a very very special feeling, in my case emphasized by the fact that there was no one else to eat, only my sister and I's table set.
Imagine the convent with the covered courtyard where there is a muffled silence. There are few tables inside the courtyard and only one is set. No person around you, only an elderly waitress who very courteously brings you the various dishes.
And during lunch silence, just your voices and nothing else. Trust me, it's a very special feeling that I liked a lot and it's definitely a thing to experience if you're passing through Toledo.
Among other things, I stress that the cuisine was truly exceptional.
If you need it there is also the possibility to stay overnight.

Buy Chili di Marzipan
In my opinion, this is undoubtedly one of the 5 things to do in Toledo. At the level of local crafts Toledo is very famous for sword forging. But it is extremely famous for the marzipan. You can't leave the city without buying a lot of them. Sure it is quite expensive but it is typical of Toledo, then if you are like me who go crazy, well, then you have to try to contain yourself.
Seriously: the most important patisseries are close to Plaza Zocodover. The guide explained that to me the most famous is the "Santo Tomé" which dates back to 1856. The one in the center is very easy to find because it is under the arcades on the left going from Plaza Zocodover towards the Alcazar.
Council: they have infinite types of marzipan, from the normal one to the one with almonds, there is also the stuffed one. Here, the problem is the one filled with fruit jelly. Ask how they are exactly.
Have a drink at the Circulo de Arte Toledo
I didn't get to try the Circulo because I didn't stop in Toledo in the evening. Surely it is among the 5 things to do because the guide who followed me all day told me that this place is perfect for a drink in the evening. All the young people of Toledo gather in this bar which was opened inside a deconsecrated church. I went into it and it is a very special environment where some works of art that can be purchased are also displayed.
