The tour is led by Robert Carr-Hartley, a professional photographer who grew up in Kenya: his passion for the wild territories of his childhood led him to become a profound knowledge of the environment and its fauna, so much so that in 1994 he was called to guide the team that was looking for inspiration for the "The Lion King" cartoon.

Just think, it was Robert himself who advised choosing a warthog (the very nice Pumba) as Simba's new friend! And as a great expert, today the photographer makes all his knowledge available to organize a unforgettable safari, to discover the wonders of the place and its inhabitants.

The guided tour starts from Nairobi, and has as its first stop the Giraffe Manor, a splendid rural estate where it is possible live in close contact with giraffes. And – surprise! – right here you can admire some specimens of warthogs, which really resemble our beloved Pumba.
