A place open to anyone who needs a moment of inner peace, where everyone works every day to protect silence as a natural resource.
There are no busy roads, no urban or commercial settlements, near the Zabalo river you can't even hear the noise of planes passing overhead: a million acres protected by Cofán indigenous people of Ecuador, one of the oldest surviving indigenous cultures in the Ecuadorian Amazon, the first defenders and custodians of this unique and uncontaminated environment belonging to our planet Earth.
