Visiting the Madrid Botanical Garden (Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid) is quite easy and also comfortable, being located very close to Atocha station and museums most important in Madrid. So if you have just come out of a visit to the museum, we recommend that you go to the Botanical Garden, as it is a very relaxing and uncrowded place.

The garden is divided into three sections: the terraces of aromatic and medicinal plants; the botanical terrace where there is a very interesting collection of plants, some very old; and the terrace of shrubs and trees.
