How to get to the Center from London Airports

There are 5 London airports:

Heathrow

With its 5 terminals is one of the largest airports in the world, make sure which is the terminal of arrivals and departures. The distance from the airport to the center is approximately 24 km.


HOW TO GET TO THE CENTER

TRAIN and METRO

To get to the center, the fastest way is definitely by train, L'Heathrow Express will take you to Paddington station in just 15 minutes. With the Underground, thanks to the Piccadilly Line, you will be in the center in less than an hour. Be careful because the train and the Underground do not travel at night.


BUS

With the National Express Bus travel times can be up to 1 hour and 30 at peak times.

TAXI

Cab is another convenient alternative, although it is the most expensive and not the fastest (1 hour 1 hour 30).

Gatwick

It is the second largest airport in London by traffic and importance and is 48 km from central London.

TRAIN

The train departs from Luton Airport Parkway, accessible in just 5 minutes, with a free shuttle bus service.From this station it will take about 40 minutes to reach King's Cross station. Trains can be found to and from London Bridge and Elephant & Castle. Trains do not run at night.

Green Lane 757 runs a shuttle bus service from the airport to Victoria Station, with a travel time of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

The cost of a cab to the center is about £60, which takes about 1 hour.

Stansed

It is the capital's third largest airport and has experienced steady growth in air traffic in recent years, also thanks to low-cost airlines Ryanair and EasyJet.

The Stansted Express train connects the airport to Liverpool Street station in approximately 45 minutes, with trains departing every 15 to 30 minutes. Trains do not travel at night.

I Terravision buses offer transfers from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street (55 minutes travel time) and Victoria Station (75 minutes travel time). National Express connects Stansted Airport to central London with Victoria Coach Station and Liverpool Street.

The cost of a cab to the center is around £70.

City airport

It is the closest to central London, but is rarely the airport of arrival / departure from Spain.
