The villages of Val Rendena

Val Rendena is made up of several small towns and places, each one more special than the other. One of them is Pinzolo, where the cemetery church of San Vigilio is undoubtedly worth a visit, which preserves several prestigious frescoes inside, but also a marvel on the outside: "The Danza Macabre", located on the south façade. a true masterpiece because it is 21 meters long and contains 40 human-sized characters.

Popular both in summer and winter, it is ideal for families but also for snow lovers: alpine skiing is undoubtedly one of the reasons that lead to choosing Pinzolo for ski weeks thanks to its slopes, especially of medium difficulty. .

Another town not to be missed is the very famous Madonna di Campiglio, a village in Pinzolo that impresses with its elegance. Located at 1.550 meters above sea level, it is one of the best Italian ski resorts, but also the perfect destination to practice numerous sports in all seasons and admire the most authentic nature. The nature of Val Rendena

Val Rendena is the perfect place to experience high altitude nature. In winter it is a white carpet, but in the rest of the seasons the greenery bathed by the Sarca River dominates, allowing a network of more than 400 kilometers of trails in which authentic natural gems emerge.



Wine lovers can also experience many joys. Mountain bike, because here for the "Bike Transalp", and golf lovers thanks to two extraordinary greens: the Campo Carlo Magno in Madonna di Campiglio and the Golfclub Rendena in Bocenago.

But the truth is that in this wonderful corner of Italy the mountain shows all its facets in the rocky peaks of the Brenta Group, Adamello, Presanella and Carè Alto. An optimal place, therefore, for practicing sports such as climbing, mountaineering and hiking.

From Pinzolo, for example, you can reach Doss del Sabion which is one of the most panoramic points in the area because it allows you to contemplate between mountain refuges and exciting horizons. In winter, however, in these places there are more than 150 km of slopes suitable for all levels.

Then there are the suggestive side valleys, such as the Val Genoa, which turn out to be true aquatic paradises thanks to their attractions. An example of all this are the Nardis waterfalls, a thunderous waterfall that falls from more than 130 meters between the mountains of the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park.

Equally interesting is the small, but no less exciting, masanel waterfall that makes space in the town of Bocenago. To get there it is necessary to take a simple and regenerative excursion that children can also do.
